RCG renovated the historic Salem Laundry Building on Derby Street to create 54 luxury loft-style condominium homes with concierge services. Located in the heart of Salem's historic seaside downtown, residents of Derby Lofts enjoy a neighborhood that includes Pickering Wharf, The House of Seven Gables, and the acclaimed Peabody-Essex Museum. Wonderful restaurants and the MBTA commuter rail are all within walking distance. Derby Lofts offers excellent views of both the harbor and the city. 
RCG completely refurbished the exterior of the old laundry building and added two stories to the existing brick and mortar structure. In all, this mixed-use project contains 115,000 square feet.. The current tennant of Derbty Lofts, encompassing a broad variety of goods and services, incude: Cornerstone Books, R.A. DiFillipo Antiques & Auctions, Engine House Pizza and Subs, Rouge, Chulamama, Radiance Aveda Spa, and A & J King Artisan Bakers. Only a limited number of units are still available. The two-bedroom units average more than 1,500 square feet and include two full bathrooms. The one-bedroom units boast at least 1,100 square feet of space.
